Meet Bill Barbour. Biking is Bill's life. So when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he called his friend who had beaten prostate cancer a few years back. The first question he asked was how long he had been off his bike after treatment. The answer? Two years. Bill was shattered to think he might not ride for that long, so he started doing research. He read every book, visited every website and called every friend; it all led him to the Roberts Proton Therapy Center. He flew to Philadelphia to receive proton therapy for his prostate cancer. The day after he completed his treatment, he got back on his bike — and rode for 20 miles. Watch as he talks about his decision making process and the quality of life he maintained during treatment.
