Thank you!

During National Volunteer Week – April 7 to 13 – HUP will recognize and thank the more than 950 volunteers who give freely of their time to help make Penn Medicine the stand-out organization it is today. HUP’s Volunteer Services comprises the traditional program as well as special programs for both teens and college students. In the past year alone, they volunteered nearly 50,000 hours of service – the equivalent of 23 full-time employees!

“We are fortunate to have a strong team of volunteers who lend their compassion and dedication to our patients, family members, and staff,” said David Cribb, director of Volunteer Services and Video Services. “Our volunteers often pass other hospitals and organizations to volunteer here. Their generosity of spirit helps all of us to achieve our goal of service excellence.”
