Each year, HUP reaches out to help those less fortunate through Holly Days. The excerpts from notes below show impact of the generous outreach:
- “I just wanted to say thank you for everything. The things that you bought for me warms my heart and brings my mother joy. We don’t have much but we are grateful for what we get. As me and my mom always say, when we put our problems in God’s hand, he puts his peace in our hearts. Have a blessed life.” (From a 9-year old in a local shelter)
- “We are all so very grateful and extremely happy for you guys taking the time to provide us with so many great things. My mother always celebrated Christmas for her grandbabies, and she passed away 2 months ago. You guys not only made Christmas for my children, but you also kept my mom’s legacy going on.”
- “Saying thank you doesn’t truly tell how grateful and blessed we are feeling for the wonderful gifts. I pray that one day I am able to be a blessing and bring a smile to another family’s face. I never would have imagined that there were so many kindhearted people that take their time and money to make sure others have a special Christmas.”
