Happy Birthday to Pennsylvania Hospital! The first hospital in the nation celebrated its 271st birthday on May 11 with an arrangement of individually packaged cupcakes for staff in Café 1751. Employees could also participate in a matching game, connecting names to portraits of historical hospital icons, such as founder Benjamin Rush and the first medical trainee Jacob Ehrenzeller, for a chance to be entered into a drawing for AirPods.
