Together, LG Health employees contributed $193,700 to the 2019 United Way campaign. LG Health matched 50 percent of all employee donations with a $96,850-corporate contribution to United Way of Lancaster County.

United Way of Lancaster County helps more than 105 local not-for-profit organizations to combat poverty, gaps in medical coverage, kindergarten preparedness and career readiness. Through these community partnerships, United Way of Lancaster County impacted 150,000 lives in 2018, including;

  • 1,000+ at-risk children in Lancaster County were supported with kindergarten readiness programs.
  • 10,058 families in need were provided with free tax preparation services.
  • 300+ Lancaster County households were assisted with food security and healthy choices.

“Through the generosity of our employees, LG Health and United Way are able to continue to make a tangible impact and improve the quality of life for everyone who lives and works in Lancaster County,” shared Bergen.
