Traditions are an important part of the culture of LG Health. From delivering exceptional patient care each day to celebrating accomplishments and giving back, LG Health employees continue to live their legacy within the organization. This holiday season was no exception.
During December, LG Health thanked employees for their ongoing commitment by providing holiday meals.
“As we reflect on the year of accomplishments, it is obvious that our employees play an essential role in our achievements and our success story,” shared Alex Jorgenson, chief Human Resources officer. “The holiday meals are an expression of the health system’s gratitude for the commitment and the passion employees demonstrate each day.”
In addition to enjoying meals, LG Health employees participated in the 14th annual Spirit of Giving, which assists employees who are facing a hardship during the holiday season.
Various departments throughout the health system anonymously adopt a family in need and shop for gifts to help the family through the holidays. In 2018, 116 departments adopted 114 LG Health employees and their families.
“Year after year, the generosity of our LG Health community continues to astonish me. Our employees anonymously step up and support each other,” said Joy Sharp, manager of employee recognition and services.
