Staff members across Penn Medicine Princeton Health volunteered at Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) in February, serving dinners on four separate days throughout the month.
The volunteer opportunities were offered through a partnership between TASK and Princeton Health’s Committee for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The project stemmed from Princeton Health’s observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day to honor his legacy of humanitarianism.
TASK prepares more than 10,000 meals each week, with food service at the main location in Trenton as well as community meal sites throughout central New Jersey. Thank you to everyone who volunteered.
