Thank you to the physicians, employees, and volunteers who contributed to Heroes Fighting Hunger. Princeton Health’s annual food drive took on added significance this year as families in Central Jersey and across the nation continue to face hunger and food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic downturn.
Collection boxes for non-perishable foods, personal care products, cleaning supplies, and pet-related items were set up in Princeton Medical Center, Princeton House Behavioral Health, and other Princeton Health locations from Martin Luther King Jr. Day until March 1.
Items collected at the hospital were delivered to the Plainsboro Food Pantry and Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. Other Princeton Health locations had the option to choose a food pantry in the communities they serve.
