Coronavirus

Free CPR Week, an annual offering by Princeton Health Community Wellness that actually spans two weeks, has been postponed until later this spring.

Princeton Health Community Wellness has postponed all scheduled in-person events that are open to the general public, in a move intended to help slow the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in central New Jersey. Some childbirth and family programs have been provided remotely, with participants joining a conference call or an interactive livestream via computer or mobile device.

The Free CPR Week events, originally set for March and April, are now scheduled for May 30 through June 13. CPR instructors from Princeton Health teach the classes, which are offered at Princeton Health locations as well as settings in the community such as libraries, schools, senior centers, municipal buildings and residential communities.

The new dates are subject to change, depending on the status of the COVID-19 outbreak. Check www.princetonhcs.org/calendar for the latest updates.

NOTE: This does not affect internal CPR classes that Princeton Health employees and medical staff members need to perform their jobs. Those classes have been continuing as scheduled.

Any staff member or provider who has questions about the availability of CPR training, please contact Debbie Millar, director, community wellness and engagement, at 609.897.8982 or deborah.millar@pennmedicine.upenn.edu.
