Princeton Health will celebrate its second Penn Medicine Experience (PMX) Week this month with five days’ worth of events involving meditation, yoga, therapy dogs, giving back to the community, and a nod to Princeton Health’s upcoming centennial.

PMX Week, an annual Penn Medicine-wide celebration highlighting the efforts of physicians, employees, and volunteers to deliver an exceptional patient experience, will be observed from October 14 through October 18, said Geralyn Karpiscak, MSN, Princeton Health’s director of patient relations and customer service.

Employees, physicians, and volunteers will receive emails with a full schedule of the PMX events, which will include an award ceremony on Thursday, October 17 to honor staff members who were nominated by their peers for exemplifying this year’s PMX Week theme: BE Compassionate — I serve with my head and my heart.

BE Compassionate is one of Penn Medicine’s five BE Standards, which have also been adopted by Princeton Health.
