The Pollan family — including Emmy-nominated actress Tracy, her sisters Dana and Lori, and their mother, Corky — will offer insight into eating for optimal health during a special event Wednesday, June 5, at Princeton Medical Center (PMC) in Plainsboro, N.J.
The event is one of more than 2,000 health screenings and educational programs that will be provided this year by Princeton Health’s Community Wellness Department, serving 50,000 people in central New Jersey. Many of the events center on expert advice for healthy eating and active living.
The Pollan family event will focus on the quartet’s latest cookbook, Mostly Plants: 101 Delicious Flexitarian Recipes from the Pollan Family, which promotes a plant-centric diet without having to give up meat entirely.
A physician from Princeton Health will provide opening remarks and then introduce the Pollan family for a moderated discussion and a live cooking demonstration.
