Penn Medicine provides equitable health care to all patients regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race or religion.

As a patient at Penn, you have the right to medical, dental and nursing services without discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity or expression. You also have the right to designate your partner or child as a visitor, regardless of legal recognition.

We believe every patient at Penn Medicine has the right to high quality health care, and the LGBT Health Program is working to ensure all LGBT people receive care that’s equal and unbiased.
