Categorical Program

The Residency Training Program in the Department of Medicine enables residents to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes for the practice of general internal medicine through rotations in general ward medicine, specialty services, continuity practice, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and a wide variety of elective experiences.

Primary Care Program

The Primary Care program is fully integrated with the department's Categorical Internal Medicine residency training program, yet distinct in its emphasis on primary and ambulatory care. This integration allows our residents to receive the absolute best in inpatient internal medicine training while, at the same time, experiencing focused clinical and didactic ambulatory curricula.
