Penn Neurosurgery is currently using the ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) through NRMP (National Residency Match Program). Students may register by visiting the ERAS website.
The application deadline is October 15, 2015. Applications are reviewed in early fall.
Please contact the residency coordinator, Susan Small, at firstname.lastname@example.org for any other information regarding the program.
The department of neurosurgery at The University of Pennsylvania welcomes fourth year medical students who have a specific interest in the field of neurosurgery to rotate on the neurosurgery service for a one-month rotation as a sub-intern. The rotation is set up through the Penn School of Medicine, therefore the student will need to first contact the medical school for application. However, the neurosurgery department is in direct contact with the medical school to help facilitate this application process. Please ensure to complete the necessary application requirements, which includes a copy of your curriculum vitae, board scores, and medical school transcript. If any difficulties or concerns arise throughout this process, you can contact Susan Small, the neurosurgery residency program coordinator, to address any inquiries.
