About Dr. Yegüez

Andrea graduated from Georgetown University in 2017 with a B.S. in Neurobiology with a minor in Studio Art and from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in 2021. She has conducted research on miscommunications and misconceptions among Spanish speaking Latinas with urologic diseases and is interested in continuing this work. She has also conducted work on integrating surgical health disparities curriculum into undergraduate medical education. She plans on maintaining her involvement in community outreach via volunteering at Puentes de Salud and engaging in further advocacy work for minoritized communities. Andrea is excited to explore the fields within Urology and Urogynecology.
