About Dr. Jones
Dr. Amanda E. Jones is a third-year resident in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Community Health from Brown University and earned her Medical Degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Her interests include gender-affirming surgery, quality of life outcomes and population health.

Research
Dr. Jones’ capstone project for her medical degree was a prospective cohort study focusing on patients’ quality of life following percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and ureteroscopy. She hopes to continue conducting quality of life research in addition to research on gender-affirming care and population health.
