How to use Penn Medicine OnDemand & Lancaster General Health OnDemand
- Log in to the appropriate MyChart app 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
- If you haven’t already done so, complete pre-check in, test your audio/video connection, and make your payment.
- After pre-check in, click “begin visit.”
- On the preview screen , click “Join call” and wait for the provider to begin your visit.

- Schedule your Penn Medicine OnDemand appointment online or by phone at 215-615-2222.
- Download the latest version of the myPennMedicine app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Complete your pre-check-in on MyChart by myPennMedicine before your video visit.
- After completing pre-check in, please click "begin visit" to start your virtual visit. You will then be prompted to test your audio/video connection.
- If you have difficulty logging into MyChart by myPennMedicine on your mobile device, call the MyChart by myPennMedicine support desk 24/7 at 866-614-7606.
- Schedule your Lancaster General Health OnDemand appointment online or by phone at 717-721-4589.
- Download the MyChart app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Once downloaded, search for Lancaster General Health. Click to add Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and log in to your MyLGHealth account.
- Complete the pre-check in process and make your payment in your MyLGHealth account in the MyChart app.
- In Appointments, select 'Visit OnDemand' and wait for the provider to begin your visit.

- At least 30 minutes before your virtual visit, you should test your device to make sure everything is working for your visit:
- Make sure your device is charged.
- Choose a quiet, private, well-lit location for your video visit.

- If you haven’t already done so, complete your pre-check in and test your audio/video.
