Virtual urgent care at any time
Penn Medicine OnDemand (PMOD) is a virtual practice providing urgent medical care services. Thousands of patients have already experienced the ease of virtual urgent care from our OnDemand providers. We offer medical guidance, short-term prescriptions, and convenient care when you need it.
We treat children and adults for non-emergency issues. You must be in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland during your OnDemand virtual visit.
When should I use Penn Medicine OnDemand?
Virtual Penn Medicine OnDemand appointments are offered to people who have urgent, non-life-threatening symptoms and:
- Your regular primary care provider’s (PCP) office is closed
- You can’t get to your primary care provider for an in-person visit
- You don’t have a primary care provider
- You’re unable to see your provider soon enough
We communicate the details of your OnDemand visit with your current provider if they’re within the Penn Medicine health system. This includes informing them of your health status and any treatments you receive, so you get seamless, coordinated care.
How much does a Penn Medicine OnDemand visit cost?
Costs for OnDemand visits may vary. Before scheduling a visit, check with your insurance carrier to see if your plan covers OnDemand visits. You are responsible for out-of-pocket fees, including co-pays and deductibles, as determined by your insurance plan.
