PAH is excited to announce the appointment of Neil Sheth, MD,
assistant professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and board-certified surgeon, as the new Orthopaedic section chief. As section chief, Dr. Sheth will oversee PAH’s orthopaedic services and will work to implement strategic initiatives to enhance the patient experience. His dedication to quality patient care, excellence in education, and his colleagues make him a great fit for this role. He is also committed to global health and is leading a team of students and residents to sub-Saharan Africa to build an orthopaedic center.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Sheth has also lent his expertise to a variety of other leadership positions. He is an Assistant Residency Program Director and the site director of the PAH Adult Reconstruction Fellowship. In addition to being a fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS) and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, he is also a co-director of AAOS Adult Reconstruction Board Review Course.
“Since joining the team in 2012, Dr. Sheth has been an amazing leader, innovator, and teacher. For example, he spent the last year serving as the Orthopedic liaison to our perioperative team, working on the development of the OR strategic plan,” CEO Theresa Larivee said. “Under his leadership, I know that our Orthopaedic program will continue to thrive.”
