The Magnet Steering Committee is working on improving the process for community outreach. Community outreach is the donation of time or resources to benefit a community or its institutions through involvement in non-profit, civic, religious, or community-based organization in an effort to improve the quality of life for residents. Examples of such efforts include: religious community projects, health fairs, health promotion screenings, school fundraiser, soup kitchens, disaster relief programs, mentoring initiatives, reading to or tutoring children, and neighborhood clean-up events.

Please take a moment to print out complete the Community Involvement Survey. The survey is located on the PAH Nursing Magnet Intranet page under “Magnet News.” Completed surveys should be dropped off to the Community Outreach Survey bin in Nursing Administration on 2 Cathcart.
