Allare welcome to the 2013 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day of Remembrance onMonday, January 21, in the Zubrow Auditorium at 12:30 pm. The guest speakerwill be Rev. Dr. LaVerne Adams and there will be readings by George A. McCallElementary School Students.
Thisyear’s theme – “What will you be a drum major for?” – is based upon a quotefrom Dr. King which sates: “Ifyou want to say that I was a drum major, say that I was a drum major forjustice. Say that I was a drum major for peace. I was a drum major forrighteousness. And all of the other shallow things will not matter.”

TheThirty-Second Annual Molly and Sidney N. Zubrow Lecture and Award Program willbe held Wednesday, March 6, at 5 pm in the Zubrow Auditorium. A reception willfollow in the Great Court on the first floor of the Pine Building. All areinvited to attend to hear guest lecturer EzekielJ. Emanuel, MD, PhD, chair, Department of Medical Ethics andHealth Policy at Penn, discuss the pressing need for health care reform in theUS, the challenges looming, and the future of American medicine. The Molly andSidney N. Zubrow Lecture and Award Program was established by Dr. and Mrs.Zubrow in 1981 to highlight humanism in medicine.
