In early 2021, Fidelity Investments will take over administration of Princeton Health’s retirement plans, aligning all entities within the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) under the same retirement plan administrator.
Account balances in our defined contribution retirement plans — the 403(b) and 401(a) plans — will transfer to Fidelity as of December 31, and Fidelity will begin administering the plans on January 4, 2021. Fidelity will begin administering our frozen defined benefit pension plan on February 1, 2021.
