Ground Floor

  • The Emergency Department (ED) is located on the ground and mezzanine levels. Access the ED through the ground level.
  • Visit the Security Desk or Patient & Guest Relations to request information and help.
  • Visitors and staff at the Pavilion have food and dining options including a cafe on the ground floor.
  • Vending machines are located on the city side (right) of the building. ATMS are located near elevator B.
  • Conveniently take the bridge to SEPTA's Penn Medicine Station.

First Floor

  • Pick up your prescriptions at the retail pharmacy.
  • Visit the Family Caregiver Center which supports the health and wellbeing of family members and friends caring for a loved one during hospitalization.
  • Visitors and staff at the Pavilion have food and dining options on the first floor.
  • Vending machines are also located on the first floor on the city side (right) of the building.
  • Take a moment to visit our Tree of Life Art Installation.
  • Conveniently take the pedestrian bridges to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) or to the Perelman Center for Advance Medicine (PCAM).

  • Procedural floors with surgery bays, recovery units and family waiting areas.

Floors 7 to 14

  • Patient rooms are located on floors 7 through 14.
    • Rooms 1-12 and 61-72: City-facing end (right) of the building
    • Rooms 13-24 and 49-60: Center of the building
    • Rooms 25-48: Campus-facing end (left) of the building
  • To reach patient rooms, use the following elevator banks.
    • Rooms 25-60: Elevator Bank A
    • Rooms 1-24 and 61-72: Elevator Bank B
  • There are four family lounges including the larger Campus Family Lounge (left) and City Family Lounge (right).
