Penn Orthopaedics is providing and will continue to provide exceptional care to all of our patients during the COVID-19 outbreak. In an effort to protect our patients and staff, and to prioritize the needs of those who may require immediate care, we have decided to make some patient scheduling changes.
Penn Orthopaedics is using virtual video appointments for patients through cell phones or computers for the following patient types:
- Current patients who need follow-up or post-surgical care.
- New patients who need initial consultations for new injuries or chronic conditions.
To schedule a virtual appointment, please call 215-662-3340 or request an appointment online.
For acute injuries, severe pain, or for patients who will require imaging or other testing to assess and diagnose their condition, we are offering in-person visits at some of our locations.
To schedule an in-person visit, please call 215-662-3340 or request an appointment online.
We've implemented new safety protocols for in-person appointments and procedures. We are continually evaluating patient care to improve treatment and reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
Penn Orthopaedics is still performing necessary surgeries at some Penn Medicine locations for patients who have fractures, infections, or other conditions where surgery is clinically recommended. Please consult with your physician for more information.
