Smita Holden, MD, has joined Penn Neurology.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Dr. Holden completed an internal medicine internship and neurology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, and subsequently completed a vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Holden specializes in the treatment of stroke and the acute management of patients with neurological diagnoses. She has a particular clinical interest in stroke related to malignancy and other hypercoagulable states.
Dr. Holden is board certified in neurology. She sees patients at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes in Camden, NJ.
