Preethi Ramchand, MD, has joined Penn Neurology as an assistant professor of neurology.
A graduate of the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Dr. Ramchand completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in neurology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She then completed separate fellowships in neurocritical and neurointerventional care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ramchand specializes in neurocritical care and its attendant procedures.
Her clinical interests include endovascular neuroradiology, ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke and traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Ramchand is board certified in neurology. She sees patients at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
