Yes. The LG Health Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and classified as a 509(a)(1) publicly supported charity. All gifts to LG Health should be directed to the LG Health Foundation and are tax-deductible.
All gifts to the LG Health Foundation stay local to support a wide variety of funding needs at LG Health including patient assistance funds, state-of-the-art equipment, new facilities, nursing scholarships and innovative technology. Gifts to the LG Health Foundation help to bridge gaps in care and improve the quality of healthcare available in our community.
Yes, designation options are listed on our giving page so you can give your gift to an area or program that you are most passionate about supporting. Unrestricted gifts are also very important to fulfilling our mission by providing critical resources to help support the most urgent needs of the health system.
Yes, gifts can be made in memory of or in honor of a loved one or a member of the LG Health care team(s).

Donations from third-party community events, such as golf tournaments, are greatly appreciated. Any individual, business or organization wishing to conduct an event benefiting Lancaster General Health must receive approval from the LG Health Foundation before any announcement or publicity for the event. The first step is for you to read about our third-party event guidelines and submit the fundraising agreement.
