PennCare for Kids encourages patients to request prescription refills during the office visit. If a prescription refill is needed between office visits, please call the office and press #4 to request a prescription refill.
Requests called in by noon will be called into the designated pharmacy the same business day. Requests called in after noon will be called into the designated pharmacy the next business day.
When calling for a refill, please have the following information:
- The child's first and last name
- The child's date of birth
- Name of the medication
- The current dosage and frequency
- The name and phone number of the pharmacy
