About me

I have had the priviledge of practicing geriatics at various levels including Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE program), Acute Care for Elders Unit (ACE Unit), In-patient geriatric consult service, as well as seeing patients with different medical challenges in the office setting. I also manage the care of residents in a busy Continuing Care Retirement Community, where I am also the Medical Director.

Outside of the practice of geriatrics, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children. My mother-in-law, who is 95 years young, keeps my geriatric antenna up!

My education and training

  • Medical School: University of Ibadan College of Medicine
  • Residency: Jos University Teaching Hospital
  • Residency: Maryland General Hospital
  • Fellowship: R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center
