About me

Dr. Teresa Schaer, MD, brings more than 30 years of experience caring for patients nationwide. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, completed an Internal Medicine residency at NYU–Bellevue Medical Center, and a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at George Washington University Medical Center.

Before opening her own practice, she served for 21 years as Chief of the Division of Geriatrics at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Schaer also has extensive training in Geriatric Medicine and Age Management. A frequent lecturer and media medical expert, she emphasizes comprehensive, highly personalized approaches to health and wellness.
