About me

Dr. Soe Htay says his interest in medicine is gratifying through the ability to solve clinical problems and witness recovery from illnesses. Dr. Htay's goal as a hospitalist is to deliver excellent medical care and transitional care for patients before they return to the care of their primary physician.

Dr. Htay's special interests are geriatric care and palliative care, the goal of which is to make patients comfortable and improve quality of life. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

For Dr. Htay, the suburban hospital setting of Doylestown Hospital offers accessibility to a variety of specialists who act as a team on behalf of patients.

Dr. Htay sees hospital care changing in the future as hospitalist medicine continues to evolve. He anticipates improvements for inpatients in terms of length of stay, as well as quality and standards of safety. He also volunteers in nursing homes.
