About me

Robert Akbari, MD is a colon and rectal surgeon with Doylestown Health. He is a native of Bucks County Pennsylvania. He moved back to the area in 2014 to serve the community where he grew up. Dr. Akbari is double-boarded and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS). He has authored a number of publications and is skilled in all facets of colorectal surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Akbari enjoys hiking, fly-fishing, and spending time with his family.
