About me

  • Director, Innovative product, Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care
  • Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
  • Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care in Neurology

I am a physician scientirst who focus on improving patient outcomes through outstanding patient care and research in the perioperative and pain medicine arena. I work on opioid and opioid receptor pharmacology. Our team developed multiple novel technologies for opioid related issues. We are also developing a compound for stroke rescue purpose. Our team developed novel strategies for stroke awareness in non-English speaking population, especially for people in Low and Middle Income Countries.
