short version: i wasted 1.5 hours waiting to see the doctor, and will be changing providers because i find this disrespectful to any patient's time. more detailed version: i was told to arrive 15 min early for my appointment, which seemed to make no sense because i was asked to do nothing extra during those 15 min. i was finally called back to a room 35 min past my appointment time (which was 50 min after i was told to arrive). i then waited another ~40 minutes before seeing the doctor, at which point i had about 5 minutes before i needed to leave in order to arrive home in time to pick up my child from school. the visit was rushed but adequate (i hope?). this was not the first time i was made to wait far after a scheduled appointment time to see dr. anderson, but it will be the last time. after this visit, where i wasted 1.5 hours of waiting for a 5 minute visit, i will be changing providers. this timing is not respectful to me or any other patients. scheduling needs to be done differently so that my time is treated as real, or at least as real as it is for providers.
