About me

  • Assistant Internal Medicine Physician, Philadelphia Flyers

Dr. Ahmad earned his medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in 2008 and completed his residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He then pursued a sports medicine fellowship at Morris Memorial Hospital, where he worked with the New York Jets and New York Red Bulls.

After joining Delancey Internal Medicine at Washington Square, he became the lead physician in 2019. Dr. Ahmad has served as a team physician for the Philadelphia Flyers since 2013 and worked with the Philadelphia Eagles as an assistant team physician from 2013-2018.

In 2021, Dr. Ahmad transitioned to Penn Personalized Care, knowing the practice would allow him to dedicate more time to partnering with patients to better understand their medical needs and to deliver personalized, attentive care.
