Dr. Rachel M. Dayno, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine (Rheumatology) at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, serving patients at Penn Rheumatology University City and Penn Rheumatology Cherry Hill. She earned her B.A. in Biology and Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 and completed her medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Dayno trained in residency at Tulane Medical Center and completed her rheumatology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She now serves as the Quality Improvement lead for the division of rheumatology. Her research includes contributions on patient self-efficacy in managing rheumatologic symptoms and emotions, vascular inflammation in giant cell arteritis, and vaccination practices among immunosuppressed patients.
