seeing a patient for the first time is very scary for the patient. the heart is extremely complex. the dr already had an idea what he wanted to do coming in the room, when i was a deer in headlights. explaining things in more detail, giving choices, and asking if i had more questions or understand everything is what i wished would've happened. but, i will get my answers before this surgical procedure is complete.
