Research

Description of Research Expertise:

I have experience in different MR perfusion techniques to measure blood flow in pediatric and adult brain tumors. In addition, I have successfully used advanced MRI techniques such as arterial spin labeling (ASL) and susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) to investigate the vascular architecture of brain arteriovenous malformations. My current research efforts include multimodality imaging using structural and functional imaging with additional PET probes and molecular imaging techniques to better understand the complex nature of various brain pathologies.
