The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions shown below from our nationally-recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.

At University of Pennsylvania I work as a primary care provider, an educator for students and residents, and am the Director of Quality and Analytics in the Division of General Internal Medicine which works closely with our population health team in the division and Primary Care Service Line. I am stepping into the role of Interim Director of Population Health in 7/2020.I have specific interest in electronic health record data informing health care models for chronic disease populations. My work focuses on leveraging local quality improvement initiatives across the broader primary care service line.Current work includes leading the Hypertension Disease team which includes the Hypertension Improvement Program with home blood pressure monitoring and developing outpatient pathways for hypertension management in partnerships with the Center for Evidence Based Medicine. Current work also includes the launch of a lung screening program for incidental findings. My previous research work at MGH examined HIV quality metrics, non-communicable disease screening, and Hypertension and Diabetes control in different primary care models for patients with HIV. I also examined trends of obesity, hypertension, and diabetes in refugees after relocation to the US.
