About Ms. Catherine Parrella

Catherine started her nursing career as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse at a designated regional perinatal hospital in Trenton, New Jersey before relocating to Philadelphia. She completed her MSN in the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program at The University of Pennsylvania. She now proudly works within Penn Medicine's health system as a Nurse Practitioner at an outpatient OBGYN clinic. She also instructs undergraduate nursing and graduate nurse practitioner students.

In addition to her National Certification Corporation WHNP-BC credentials, Catherine is a certified nurse in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB) and she accepted an invitation to join Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society's Xi Chapter. Catherine is passionate about caring for women of all backgrounds throughout their lifespan; she enjoys providing care for the prenatal population, can manage primary care concerns, is thrilled to work with postpartum patients, and will happily see gynecology patients of any age.
