dr gelfand is knowledgeable, very professional and genuinely caring. spent time with me to listen to my concerns, understand my situation and work with me on the next steps.

he spends the time we need to explains answers to our questions

provider did not make me feel comfortable. visit was clinical and impersonal. provider was not empathetic. my visit was disappointing and not helpful

dr. gelfand is simply the best. he has the utmost professionalism, is clearly extremely capable and intelligent, and actually does care about his patient's well being and personal lives

it was respectfully and noticeably of their professionalism.

he wasn't in a hurry and he didn't think that any question was not important.

took great care to explain my condition and quickly determined a course of action that gives me hope. he also explained the next possibilities in the case the current treatment plan is not fully successful. i greatly appreciate the detail provided and the care i received during my visit.

he has made me from having 12h hour seizures in a day while being very alert while having them since i was first diagnosed with epilepsy of the age of three currently only being with him since 2021 till current my seizures are less than half a minute in my sleep which will only happen if stressed, lack of sleep or hormonal issues. finally basically after 3 years of trial and error through medication.

because it was through him i was able to understand and stabilize my seizures

i like that he's on your level to discuss your issues and actually listens. he is very upfront which is a big thing for me because i rather hear my results , albeit good or bad , without beating around the bush or using medical terms that i wouldn't understands. he does that and it's such a relief.

wait time was a major factor. also i didn't like discussing things i had concerns about and feeling like the doctor was dismissing my concerns
