A graduate of Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, Dr. Poorman completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at UMass Memorial Medical Center. He then completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at Massachusetts General Hospital in association with Harvard Medical School, where he focused on complex and revision hip and knee replacement surgery, minimally invasive techniques, robotic-assisted surgery, and rapid recovery protocols.
