i have to be very honest and hopefully you will take this as a benefit to better the situation. all around my experience with hup has not been to the quality it was 13 yrs ago when i had a double transplant ( kidney/pancreas). it was much more organized. a person was always available for every phase in the process leading up to and post transplant. i do not feel the same way this time around. very disorganized. i had an issue where someone was trying to pass the buck. i took this up with my doctor and she told me that i was right and it was a misunderstanding. i understand that penn medicine has grown tremendously. that is wonderful. however, they have to accommodate for that large growth/expansion.
