would have appreciated more time and attention and discussion to all of my various peri-menopausal symptoms and changes. i think a lot of these things should not be discussed while the patient is in a gown, on the table and certainly not during the exam, which is what happened. as with any doctor appointment in our pressured and over extended way of doing healthcare, the appointment felt rushed, i did not feel like i could get all my questions and concerns out, and the doctor was looking at the screen and typing notes the whole time other than during the exam while some discussion continued- multi tasking but not at its finest. this is not unique to any one provider but i thought coming to this practice during this season of my life would be better, that i'd feel more heard and understood and that there would be more real suggestions and solutions.

i have already recommended a friend to see her.
