the provider was over 20 minutes late to the visit. i was working and specifically asked for time off from work from my start time (10:20am and for 20 minutes after that- 10:40). no one joined the call at all until 10:30 and i wasn't seen by the provider until after 10:40, which was when my time off from work was supposed to be ending. i had a maintenance person coming to my house at 11:30 and intended to be done early enough and because my visit started so late, i almost missed the maintenance person coming over. i should have been notified with some sort of text that the doctor would be late or at least that the nurse would be late. waiting 10 minutes on a video call with no notification or consideration for my time or schedule is not ok. we are expected to be on time as patients but the physicians and office do not grant us the same respect. during the visit, i felt like the doctor was getting annoyed by simple questions of mine (her tone and body language seemed a bit annoyed) even though the questions were in pursuit of clarification of things that were not clear in the pre- surgery instructions. the instructions said not to drink water or any clear liquids 2 hours before the surgery but did not specify anything else. the doctor said that water should sparingly be drunk the day of surgery , but that is not an exact amount. i asked for an exact amount and she got flustered and seemingly annoyed with me seeking clarity. if not drinking anything is such an important aspect of pre- surgery, then it should be explicitly stated how much and the instructions i was given s
