About me

  • Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania

Dr. Zhang’s clinical practice focuses on both benign and malignant breast surgery, with a specific clinical interest in locally advanced/inflammatory and estrogen receptor positive breast cancers.

In addition to her practice, Dr. Zhang conducts research centered around understanding the role of tumor-associated macrophages and dendritic cells in breast cancer and how to target these cells to improve breast cancer therapies.
