the only outcome was that the doctor said we need to do an mri before she can give us any definitive direction forward. it was for the most part a wasted trip. someone should have notated the mri needs to be completed prior to the consultation with the surgeon. if you look at it from my perspective, i took a redeye flight from nevada home to be here in time for what i thought was a very important consultation on moving forward only to find out that there was no ability for the doctor to give any of that input until the mri is completed.
