Dr. Elias Akl is a board certified Allergist and Immunologist who received his medical doctorate degree from University of Balamand in Lebanon and completed his internal medicine residency at Mt Sinai (Englewood Program). He completed his allergy and immunology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Akl is also board certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (FAAAAI) and sits on various committees for the AAAAI. Dr. Akl sees patients of all ages and is interested in food allergy and eosinophilic esophagitis, chronic urticaria and asthma as well as immune deficiency diseases. He speaks English, Arabic and French.

i have paid $110 for 2 visit and spent less than 5 minutes with a doctor of whom i explain i do not want to take meds every day all for them to tell me i need to take meds every day. it's clearly something i am allergic to however he didn't want to do additional testing.

doctor akl is very knowledgeable and does not rush appointments. he wants to get to the bottom of your issues and truly cares about your appointment

in addition to not giving proper instructions i could not do the test and then they sent me for a blood test to a location that could not accommodate the request - in all they wasted 3 hours of my day - awful and embarrassing
