Dr. Elias Akl is a board certified Allergist and Immunologist who received his medical doctorate degree from University of Balamand in Lebanon and completed his internal medicine residency at Mt Sinai (Englewood Program). He completed his allergy and immunology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Akl is also board certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (FAAAAI) and sits on various committees for the AAAAI. Dr. Akl sees patients of all ages and is interested in food allergy and eosinophilic esophagitis, chronic urticaria and asthma as well as immune deficiency diseases. He speaks English, Arabic and French.
