good experience, offered a lot of different ways to make sure i was comfortable

i had a lot of anxieties going into the visit but left with clarity and reassurance

dr. ndubisi approach to women's health was comprehensive. she identified other related areas of health that needed routine follow ups due to &quot;age and stage&quot; of reproductive cycle. she encouraged a &quot;whole person approach&quot; to being well in general such as exercise, bone health, heart health, and monitoring and following up with any noticeable health concerns. she was attentive and patient. she explained each step of the exam; why it was necessary; and how any results would be addressed based on the need. this approach was reassuring and felt more like a medical health partner than a medical practitioner relaying technical information.

she was very knowledgeable about what she had to do and she did it quickly and painlessly

dr. ndubisi really made sure to explain the details to me given the severity of what i'm dealing with. that was greatly appreciated

followed up all medical explanations with plain language and implications

while the provider was nice mannered. i do feel that once i explained the symptoms i was having, immediately she began diagnosing me with thoroid disease. i understand that it is common when pregnant but to just assume that the reason i am constipated is because of a thyroid issue is not fair. especially since i wasn't asked if i ever had bloodwork done, etc. which i did about 3 years ago when i had a myomectomy. the test came back . just please ask questions before diagnosing or assuming that's what it is. made the appointment stressful on top of learning that i have an u known pregnancy.

her instant go to in order to &quot;help&quot; me was medication. that was a problem for me &amp; spoke volumes.
