About me

Dr. Karanfilian completed a fellowship in general gastroenterology/hepatology at Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and then went on to complete an advanced fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) at Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Her clinical interests are broad and range from general gastroenterology symptoms and conditions (such as constipation, diarrhea, heartburn/GERD, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, fatty liver disease, and cirrhosis) to inflammatory bowel disease. She is also very passionate about colon cancer screening.
